Please notice, this update is ONLY for DVBT mode, so you have to change unit to DVBT mode by pushing DVD/DVB button, before update.
This update adds following functions:
Add skip function (5 min. forward and backward)
Add faster FF/RW function
Add "goto" function (push TIMER when playback)
Add Ex-fat filesystem support (to record one file larger than 4gb)
Set subtitle ON by default when playback
This is how you update:
1. Download the file and unzip it.
2. Copy the complete folder upgrade to the usb stick, make sure there are nothing else on the usb stick.
3. Put in the usb stick to the DVH-1240M
4. Make sure the DVH-1240M is in DVB-T mode.
5. Push SETUP and go to DISC and choose upgrade.. now WAIT!.
5. DVH-1240M will now upgrade, and when it is finished it will automatically restart the settop box.
WARNING! Do NOT turn off settop box while upgrading. This will damage the box. Even if it looks like it is not updating then WAIT. if you turn it off the box won't work anymore.
